Full description

The Survey Branch designed surveys for the location of boundaries, roadside erosion control measures affecting properties and roads, design and layout of vineyards, development of Research Stations, depots and offices, the establishment of experimental areas, surveys for the disposal of water, and ground surveys of contours and other details supplied for topographical maps. Stadia surveys were produced for purposes such as roadside erosion and vineyard layout. (1)
