The Drug Plantation Unit was a Unit of the Drug Enforcement Agency. The Drug Plantation Unit was responsible for the investigation and eradication of major organised cannabis cultivation in New South Wales. The focus of the Drug Plantation Unit’s activities was the Cannabis Eradication Program which occurred from October through to May. (1)The Drug Enforcement Agency, and all its branches including the Drug Plantation Unit, appears to have been abolished some time after 1999.
