Full description

The Burwood Office of the Public Trust Office, situated at 9 Burwood Road, Burwood was established in 1974. (1) The Office provided services for clients including the management of trusts or estates, the preparation of wills, arranging for seminars or the provision of speakers at meetings. (2)

In 1983 the office was located at 116 Burwood Road, Burwood. (3) In 1989 and April 1998 the office was still located at that address. (4) In 2006 and 2009 the office was located at 116 Burwood Road (1st Floor), Burwood. (5)

When the NSW Trustee and Guardian was established on 1 July 2009 the branch became part of that agency. (6)

Following plans to consolidate branches from nineteen to ten the Burwood Office was closed by 1 July 2017. (7)
