The Electoral Districts Commission was appointed 9 May 1919 under the provisions of the Parliamentary Electorates and Elections Acts, 1912-1918 to constitute twenty-four new Electoral Districts (1).The following three men were appointed as Electoral Districts Commissioners, H. Montgomerie-Hamilton, E.B. Harkness, and H.A. Smith (2).
The final report was submitted 27 June 1919 (3).
