The Muswellbrook District Court [I] was established by 27 March 1859 when John O 'Meara was appointed as Registrar. The Court exercised Civil Jurisdiction. The Court was reconstituted on 1 July 1973 when the District Courts assumed a criminal in addition to Civil Jurisdiction.Endnotes
