Full description
The exact date when the Kingsgrove Police Station became operational is unclear, but records were created by the station by October 1965. The official opening by Sir Eric Willis, then MP for Earlwood, took place on 12 November 1965. (1)In 2006 the station was located in the Hurstville Local Area Command in the Central Metro Region. Its address was 14 Patterson Avenue, Kingsgrove. (2)
On 8 May 2008 the Kingsgrove Police Station was damaged after a fire bombing. By 2 December 2008 the station had been assessed as suitable for closure and was surplus to the requirements of the Hurstville Local Area Command. (3)
