Full description

Jackadgery Half-Time School in the county of Gresham opened in May 1934.  It was partnered with Heifer Station Half-Time School. (1) Half-Time Schools were elementary schools designed to cater for children in areas of scattered population. (2)

In April 1940 Jackadgery became a Public School. (3)  The school closed in 2003. (4)

Jackadgery is situated in the Clarence Valley by the Mann River, in the vicinity of Grafton. (5)
