Full description
A new Fire Brigade was established at Cabramatta on 1 January 1928 as Brigade Number 49 and was located in Railway Parade.(1) The station was also known as Cabramatta-Canley Vale and the first permanent staff were appointed to the station in 1955. Cabramatta Fire Station was incorporated into the Sydney Fire Department in 1959. A new station was established in 1969 on West Cabramatta Road.(2) In 2000, Cabramatta Fire Station was located at 259 Cabramatta Road in West Cabramatta.(3) ENDNOTES1.
