Darlinghurst Police Station was established by 1896 with the completion of police officers' quarters. (1) In 1899 a lock-up was completed as part of the Darlinghurst police buildings. (2)
Darlinghurst Police Station closed in March 1987 as a result of the opening of the Sydney Police Centre, Surry Hills, which incorporated a police station. (3)
