Davis Creek Provisional School [II] in the County of Durham was opened in January 1954. A Provisional school was one in which the parents supplied accommodation for the school and the Department of Education provided the teacher, books and other teaching materials. In November 1957 the school was converted to a public school. Davis Creek Public School [II] closed in July 1966. There was a previous school at Davis Creek operating in the years 1881 until 1914.
