Baerami Creek Upper Provisional School in the county of Hunter was opened in September 1901. Provisional schools operated in areas where the school population was between 15 and 25. The parents provided the building and the furniture while the Department of Education supplied the teacher, books and equipment. In July 1907 the school was converted to a Half-time School sharing a teacher with Mount Dangar Half-Time School. In August 1910 the school resumed its status as a Provisional School changing its designation from Baerami Creek Upper to Baerami Creek. The school closed in December 1917.
