Bunnan Public School in the county of Brisbane, re-opened as a Half-time School in August 1893. It is possible that the teacher at Bunnan was shared with four or more other half-time schools. In April 1901 the school was converted to a Public School continuing in this status until its closure in December, 1973. A Public (later part-time school) had previously been conducted at Bunnan in the years 1882- 1890. Reference:
