Full description
Brookfield Public School in the county of Durham opened in January 1958. A Public School was a basic elementary school in the NSW education system which offered primary level courses. The School closed in December 1969. Schools had previously operated at Brookfield during the years 1851 - 1872 and 1874 - 1926 Reference:Department of Education and Training 'Government Schools of NSW 1848-1998'.
