Full description

There were three preceding Courts of Petty Sessions at Tinonee:  between 4 March 1870 and 7 January 1873, 30 October 1878 and 14 September 1888, and 16 July 1889 and 16 May 1894.  See AG/3393, AG/3394 and AG/3395.

Tinonee Court of Petty Sessions [IV] within the Manning River Police District was re-established on 31 October 1899 under s.459 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act of 1883 (46 Vic. No.17). (1)

Tinonee Court of Petty Sessions [IV] was abolished on 1 June 1905 under the Justices Act 1902 (Act No. 27 1902). (2)
