Full description

There were two previous Courts of Petty Sessions at Tinonee between 4 March 1870 and 7 January 1873, and 30 October 1878 and 14 September 1888.  See AG/3393 and AG/3394.

Tinonee Court of Petty Sessions [III] within the Manning Police District was re-established on 16 July 1889 under the provisions of s.459 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act of 1883 (46 Vic. No.17). (1)

Tinonee Court of Petty Sessions [III] was abolished on 16 May 1894 under the provisions of the Criminal Law Amendment Act of 1883. (2)

There was a subsequent Court of Petty Sessions at Tinonee between 31 October 1899 and 1 June 1905. (3)
