Full description

Tinonee Court of Petty Sessions [I] was first established on 4 March 1870 under s.17 of the Offenders Punishment and Justices Summary Jurisdiction Act of 1832 (3 Wil. IV No.3). (1)

Tinonee Court of Petty Sessions [I] was abolished on 7 January 1873 under the provisions of the Petty Sessions Act of 1848 (11 Vic. No.41). (2)

There were three subsequent Courts of Petty Sessions at Tinonee:  between 30 October 1878 and 14 September 1888, 16 July 1889 and 16 May 1894, and 31 October 1899 and 1 June 1905. (3)
