Narooma Court of Petty Sessions within the Moruya Police District was created on 6 August 1895 under s.459 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act of 1883 (46 Vic. No.17). (1)
The Narooma Court of Petty Session was abolished on 22 March 1897 under the provisions of the Criminal Law Amendment Act of 1883 (46 Vic. No.17). It appears that the outstanding business of the court may have been transferred to Central Tilba, also in the Police District of Moruya. (2)
There was a subsequent Court of Petty Sessions created at Narooma in 1910. (3)
