Full description

Nabiac Court of Petty Sessions within the Manning River Police District was created on 24 October 1900 under the provisions of s.459 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act of 1883 (46 Vic. No.17). (1)

The Nabiac Court of Petty Sessions was abolished on 1 March 1974 under the provisions of the Justices Act, 1902 (Act No.27, 1902).  Its records were removed to the Forster Court of Petty Sessions, under the provisions of s.77(2) of the Courts of Petty Sessions (Civil Claims) Act, 1970 (Act No.11, 1970).
