Mooball Provisional School was established in County Rous in September 1912. (1) Provisional Schools were established in areas where at least 15 children were required to attend. (2)
In June 1913 the school was converted to a Public School, operating in this capacity until its closure in February 1973. (3) A Public School offers basic elementary education at a primary school level. (4)
