Full description

The Bankstown Office of the Public Trustee was established at 346 Chapel Road, Bankstown by 1969. (1) The Office provided services for clients including the management of trusts or estates, the preparation of wills, arranging for seminars or the provision of speakers at meetings. (2)

In March 1971 the Bankstown Office was still located at 346 Chapel Road, Bankstown. (3) In 1983 the office was located at 46-48 Restwell Street, Bankstown. (4) In April 1998 the Bankstown Office was located at Kitchener Parade, Bankstown and in 2009 its address was 68 Kitchener Parade, Bankstown. (5)

When the NSW Trustee and Guardian was established on 1 July 2009 the branch became part of that agency. (6)

Following plans to consolidate branches from nineteen to ten the Bankstown Office was closed by 1 July 2017. (7)
