Belmont Police Station was established in March 1901 in the former Presbyterian manse with First-class Constable Felton, formerly of Hamilton, as its officer. (1) Belmont Police Station was located in the North-eastern District. (2)
In 2008 Belmont Police Station was located in the Lake Macquarie Local Area Command in the Northern Region. In 2008 its address was 2-6 Herbert Street, Belmont. (3)
In 2014 new buildings were being rebuilt for Belmont Police Station and the station temporarily moved to the old Swansea Police Station. (4)
In 2025 Belmont Police Station was located in the Lake Macquarie Police Area Command within the Northern Region and was the District Office. In 2025 its address was 2-6 Herbert Street, Belmont. (5)
