Full description
This branch was originally known as the Electrical Engineer's Branch and developed a system of power generation and supply for the rail and tramway network. From 22 May 1950 this system was transferred to the Electricity Commission of New South Wales, the Electrical Branch continued to maintain all overhead wires. In 1972 the branch was absorbed into the Mechanical Branch of the newly formed Public Transport Commission.User Contributed Tags
