Full description

Coopernook Court of Petty Sessions within the Manning River Police District was created on 19 September 1895 under the provisions of s.459 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act of 1883 (46 Vic. No.17). (1)

The Coopernook Court of Petty Sessions was abolished on 31 July 1970 under the provisions of the Justices Act, 1902 (Act No.27, 1902).  Its records were removed to the Taree Court of Petty Sessions under the provisions of s.77(2) of the Courts of Petty Sessions (Civil Claims) Act, 1970 (Act No.11, 1970).
