Canterbury Court of Petty Sessions within the Metropolitan Police District was created on 24 August 1916 under the provisions of s.5 of the Justices Act, 1902 (Act No.27, 1902). (1)
On 16 July 1928 the Court was re-named Campsie Court of Petty Sessions. (2)
The Campsie Court of Petty Sessions was abolished on 31 December 1984, when the Local Courts Act 1982 abolished all Courts of Petty Sessions and replaced these with Local Courts. (3)
