Full description

Bellbrook Court of Petty Sessions was established within the Macleay River Police District under the provisions of s.459 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act of 1883 (46 Vic. No.17). (1)

The Bellbrook Court of Petty Sessions was abolished on the 3 October 1975 under the provisions of the Justices Act 1902 (Act No.27, 1902). Its records were removed to the Kempsey Court of Petty Sessions, under the provisions of s.77(2) of the Courts of Petty Sessions (Civil Claims) Act, 1970 (Act No.11, 1970). (2)
