Full description

There was a previous Court of Petty Sessions conducted at Baradine between 20 June 1878 (1) and 30 October 1888. (2)

Court of Petty Sessions was re-established at Baradine (within the Coonabarabran Police District), under s.5 of the Justices Act, 1902 (Act No.27, 1902), commencing on 24 March 1911.(3)

Baradine Court of Petty Sessions within the Coonabarabran Police District was abolished on 22 October 1982, under the Justices Act, 1902 (Act No.27, 1902). Its records were removed to the Coonabarabran Court of Petty Sessions, under the provisions of s.77(2) of the Courts of Petty Sessions (Civil Claims) Act, 1970 (Act No.11, 1970). (4)
