Full description This interdisciplinary project aims to develop a new optical imaging modality using the high-speed and focus-tunable micro-lenses I recently invented. The device will be small enough to be inserted into blood vessels to provide high-quality images with unprecedented resolution and image depth. Artificial intelligence will be implemented for high-speed and real-time image processing. This will help specialists better visualise and understand the causes of heart attacks and how to prevent them.
