Brief description Adolescence plays a pivotal role in shaping outcomes across the life-course. However, little is known about its relevance for the next generation. This application takes advantage of a unique opportunity arising from a twenty-year cohort study that began in adolescence, and is now following their offspring into mid-childhood (8 years). It furthers recent evidence that suggests the greatest dividends from investments in adolescent health may be seen in the health of the next generation.
