Brief description There are no national policies or programs for adolescent mental health in Vietnam, despite high prevalence of mental health problems. We aim to improve the mental health of Vietnamese adolescents by establishing whether a cultural adaptation of the Resourceful Adolescent Program, an evidence-based intervention, is effective in preventing symptoms of depression and suicidal behaviours. This adaptation will provide essential evidence for integration of RAP into school-based programs in Vietnam.
