Full description

This project explores how students with physical disabilities are accommodated on university placements in the human services. The main data collected from this study are two data sources:

15 deidentified online questionnaire responses about students’ and staff’s placement experience, as well as a document analysis and policy analysis of 52 documents from international conventions, domestic (national, state and territory legislation), university policy documents and placement agency policy documents, on disability and placement issues.

The dataset contains:

The deidentified 15 PDF questionnaire responses.

An excel spreadsheet of the approximate average amount of time respondents took to complete the questionnaire.

Annotations of the deidentified 15 PDF questionnaire responses.

A list of the reflective memos which contain my own reflections throughout the research process in Word Version

Word documents with the coding tables for the questionnaire responses, document analysis and policy analysis.

The PDF annotations of the 52 publicly available documents used to conduct the document and policy analysis.

Some documents contain multiple versions of annotations within the research process.

The PDF and some Word versions of the documents analysis for the document analysis and the policy analysis.

Some documents became obsolete, so the updated versions of the document are also included.

The coding tables for the questionnaire, document analysis and policy analysis

The CGT coding diagram template

Raw questionnaire data in spreadsheet format, pdf report format and word report format.

A de-identified copy of the summary report of findings is available open access. The complete dataset cannot be published openly due to ethics approval conditions.
