Other view details

Researchers, groups (e.g. school special interest groups), and members of the public wishing to use the N.C.W. Beadle Herbarium Collection should make prior arrangements with the Director or Curator. Specimens are generally available on loan to recognised herbaria (if overseas, they need to be CITES registered) for scientific research in the public interest through activities and procedures that will not endanger the safety and integrity of the specimens as archival objects. The safety and security of the specimens is paramount. Requests to borrow specimens from Herbarium NE should be sent to the Director.Access to the Herbarium database is by login only. Those interested in access may request a login from http://gsw1-herbarium01-vm.intersect.org.au/users/sign_up. Alternatively, NE specimens can be accessed as part of an AVH search (http://avh.ala.org.au/)

The 'Acacia (Fabaceae subfam. Mimosoideae) of the N.C.W.
