Full description We have discovered a novel drug that only binds to a target found in tumours, but not in normal tissue. This provides an exciting opportunity to develop a new treatment for cancer patients that is tumour specific, less likely to have side effects, and more effective in treating cancer. In this grant we will undertake studies to develop this drug and perform experiments that validate the optimal therapeutic approach, ultimately leading to human clinical trials.
