The database compiles published data (in Arias-Ortiz et al. 201X, Nature Climate Change, in press) on biogeochemical characteristics (density, organic carbon, stable carbon isotopes and sediment grain size) of soils underneath seagrass meadows in Shark Bay, Western Australia.
