The authorship of Dido, Queen of Carthage has been contested since the 1594 title page nominated both Christopher Marlowe and Thomas Nashe. The Glossary reviews the suggestions made by H.J.Oliver in the Revels Plays edition of 1968, since accepted as proving co-authorship in British Drama 1533-1642: A Catalogue.
