Full description The world urgently needs effective solutions for TB, a bacterial infection that claims more lives than any other. We have identified a "weak link" in the defences of the bacteria responsible and aim to find ALL such vulnerabilities, enabling the development of the next generation of therapy for TB. We will identify ways to weaken these bacterial defences, enhancing potency of existing antibiotics, and rescuing antimicrobial resistance, delaying the need for development of new TB antibiotics.
