Full description Cardiovascular diseases including heart attack remain a globally leading cause of death, and we still lack effective remedies for the heart damage. This project aims to develop a cardiac patch device that can both promote the regeneration of damaged heart tissues and provide on-demand electrical stimulation to regulate the heart rate and rhythm to prevent irregular heartbeats. The success of this program will deliver a novel strategy for treating heart attacks with higher efficacy.
