Brief description
A 3D reconstruction of a Jewel Beetle [Temognatha chevrolatii] generated from an optical scanning rig. The Jewel Beetle model was reconstructed from 36 images of 21MP. Number of vertices is 39,603; and number of faces is 79,228. The dimension of the 3D model is in mm and the physical length of the original specimen is approximately 44mm.
