Significance

30 Years: 30 Treasures of the AFP Museum is a tribute to the 30th Anniversary of the formation of the AFP in 2008, as told through the Museum’s collection. Each year is illustrated by an object selected for what it represents in the development of the organisation, the role of the AFP in Australian history or changes in policing. Some are generic and typical of their time, some are unique and mark a significant event. Some have been seen rarely since their acquisition while others are iconic for the Museum.
