Research Background
This work is part of an international print exchange curated by artist and academic Rona Green.
Über Freaks (2011) is based between the hetero/homo binary, the grey area, of sexual identity and alternative modes of masculine representation. The work can be aligned with research in queer studies and socio-geographic fields such as the written work of Sharif Mowlabocus from the UK and artist Neil Emmerson in NZ.
Significance
