Brief description

SandMap Pty Ltd has been contracted by Moreton Bay Regional Council to undertake investigation surveys into two sites located close offshore from the Redcliffe Peninsula, QLD. These surveys will inform coastal modelling currently being undertaken as part of coastal design projects and may also be used to set-out coastal protection structures such as groyne extensions and seawalls encroaching below the low tide mark.

The project design levels were based on the Australian Height Datum (AHD).All reported depths for charted hydrographic surveys are referenced to Lowest Astronomical Tide (LAT) and related to MSQ tidal stations at Scarborough Boat Harbour and Woody Point. In the survey area, LAT is 1.23m below AHD as established by MSQ and referred to in a 2016 hydrographic survey (Plan 133106)
