Brief description
2 b) This sub-project uses rigorous and integrated landscape-scale management of threatened species, woodland and wetland areas in the Murray River corridor in Victoria’s north east. It will: • Protect and enhance 650ha of threatened woodlands and wetlands through contractual agreements with 43 land managers; • Deliver threatened species National Recovery Plan actions for the Regent Honeyeater, Macquarie Perch and Swainsona recta; • Engage 200 land managers in workshops to improve knowledge and skills in effective management of threatened woodlands, wetlands, flora and fauna; • Deliver 5 Indigenous community engagement activities to build capacity, youth involvement and record traditional ecological knowledge.User Contributed Tags
