A Randomised Controlled Trial of the Efficacy of the Men in Mind Training on Mental Health Practitioners' Clinical Competencies for Working with Male Clients

Orygen

Dataset description

This dataset contains information from a randomized controlled trial evaluating the efficacy of an online training program called "Men in Mind," designed for mental health clinicians to improve their ability to engage male clients in therapy. The dataset includes pre- and post-training self-report assessments, vignette-based assessments, and follow-up data at 6 weeks and 12 weeks. It also contains details on participant engagement, adherence to the training modules, and comparisons between the intervention group and the waitlist control group. The primary outcome measure recorded is the Engaging Men in Therapy Scale (EMITS) scores, assessing clinicians' capacity to engage male clients post-training.
