The data describe plant growth and disease parameters for chickpea infected with charcoal rot caused by Macrophomina phaseolina, and the effects of using neem (Azidirachta indica) products for disease control. Experiments were conducted in the University of New England's glasshouse and field trials.Data time period: 2014 to 2017
