This dataset documents information on the development of a prototype battery-powered UV and temperature data logger for UV and temperature sensing in remote aquatic environments. The general design and operation of the logger is described. The dataset contains: - an R script for analyses of loggers, dosimeter film, handheld radiometric measurements, and solar models; - arduino files for the function of the data logger; - input files for solar modeling. These data are used to support the publication of works related to the project.
