Full description
As part of a larger study of arsenite and antimonite minerals, we report the single-crystal Raman spectrum of natural schafarzikite FeSb2O4 and the non-oriented Raman spectra of its Zn analog and the related minerals, apuanite and trippkeite.
Figure 1 shows XRD patterns of the products formed in (a) ZnSb2O4 and (b) CuAs2O4 syntheses. Figure 2 is SEM images of (a) natural schafarzikite, (b) synthetic ZnSb2O4, and (c) synthetic trippkeite. Figure 3 is Peak-fitted Raman spectrum of schafarzikite in the 900–100 cm−1region. Figure 4 shows (a) Oriented single-crystal Raman spectrum of schafarzikite in the 400–100 cm−1 region. (b) Oriented single-crystal Raman spectrum of schafarzikite in the 900–300 cm−1region. Figure 5 is Peak-fitted Raman spectrum of ZnSb2O4 in the 800–100 cm−1region.
