Brief description
This record describes gravity data collected on RV Investigator voyage IN2021_E02, to calibrate and commission new, upgraded and existing critical equipment (with sea trials and personnel training) onboard RV Investigator for upcoming voyages in the 2021 schedule and beyond. The primary objectives for this voyage were testing the Deep Corer winch stream and respool, Trawling winch calibration, CTD winch 1 & 2 calibrations, HOTS commissioning and Heave Compensation testing, and Deep Towed Camera trial and calibration. The voyage took place between November 20 and November 28, 2021, departing from Hobart (TAS) and returning to Hobart. The gravity meter instrument is a MicroG Lacoste Air-Sea II. Data are stored in .ENV and .DAT data files at CSIRO. There are 20 files totalling 161 MB of raw data in this dataset. Wharf tie[s] were not undertaken. No processing has been conducted on this data.
