Full description

This series records the results of post-mortem examinations performed at the City Morgue. The majority of the deceased were former patients of the Licenced Houses including, Merton, Belmont, Pleasant View etc. However this series also includes many ex-patients of the large asylums such as Kew, Mont Park and Sunbury.

Cases are arranged chronologically by date of post-mortem. The name of the patient, the age at death, and the name of hospital is recorded.
