Porosity defect characterization for AM metal parts

Brief description Follow-on activities for further exploitation of the GIL project outcome. The activities include: (1) evaluation of DCM characterization of AM metal parts porosity defects with neutron imaging at ANSTO, high-photon-energy X-ray CT imaging with PWR, Australian Synchrotron, ANU and Flinders uni; (2) Consortium development for establishment of high-energy industrial X-ray CT facility in CSIRO Clayton; (3) Commercial project proposal development for porosity defect detection and modelling characterization.
