Brief description We will observe radio pulses from a brown dwarf. Previously we did not even expect that brown dwarfs would emit radio pulses, but summer students in 2001 managed to show that they did. We are still trying to understand why these sources emit very regular radio pulses and will use new instrumentation at the Parkes telescope to study the pulses over the widest frequency band possible.
