The collection was obtained from a range of experiments investigating the influence of free chlorine on polyamide reverse osmosis membranes under accelerated ageing conditions. Sodium Hypochlorite was used as a source of free chlorine and ATR-FTIR has been used to characterize the changes in membrane surface chemistry
